We helped a tropical coastal power engineering client resolve persistent overhead line operational issues. The client’s 10kV distribution lines originally used conventional porcelain pin insulators, which failed to adapt to the local harsh environment of heavy salt fog, high humidity and intense ultraviolet radiation. After long-term outdoor exposure, the porcelain insulators experienced severe insulation aging and surface pollution accumulation, causing frequent flashover failures and unexpected power outages. This greatly undermined the reliability of local industrial and residential power supply.

Our technical team analyzed the local climatic conditions and line operating parameters, then provided a targeted silicone rubber pin insulator solution.
